We believe products should not only do what they say but do more than they say. Let's face it, life is complicated enough, wellness should be simple. At Conscious Coconut, our products only have two ingredients - coconut oil, and love.
We believe in a life well-lived. We believe in experiencing more and wasting less. That is why our products come in a variety of sustainable, travel-friendly packaging that is TSA-approved.
We are committed to giving everyone the tools to live their healthiest, happiest lives. At Conscious Coconut, we work directly with our farmers in the southern Philippines to our packaging factories in China, supporting fair trade practices every step of the way. We also love kids (a lot) and are committed to raising awareness for childhood hunger in the States. For every product sold, we donate a meal through Feeding America food banks.

We are passionate about empowering people to live a balanced and conscious lifestyle. Sourcing global ingredients often guides us to the poorest communities in the world. We are Fair Trade Certified™ through Fair Trade USA. Supporting fair trade practices means that our team ensures our growers and workers are paid appropriately for their time and work. We have close and personal relationships with all of our suppliers and consider ourselves a team. This ensures their basic necessities are met – including clean water, amenities, and access to education. When these needs are met, positive changes start to occur – access to higher education, healthcare and equality for women and girls. More importantly we stand strong against forced labor, child labor and human rights abuse – which can be seen throughout our world. We also respect the natural environments we source from, and supervise every aspect of production to bring the highest quality coconut oil to our customers and a prosperous future for our partners.
childhood hunger & feeding america
There are nearly 16 million children in the States that go hungry every day — a fact unfortunately invisible to most. Poor nutrition causes nearly half of deaths in children under five. The magnitude of our hunger problem is undoubtedly huge. Too huge. Food insecurity is most common in large cities yet also exists in rural areas and suburbs. Our goal is to distribute meals in the city where the purchase was made. The only way to make an impact is to make it loving and personal.
Feeding America is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the country, consisting of a network of more than 200 food banks. More than 21 million children receive free or reduced-priced meals through the National School Lunch Program during the school year.
We need to ensure our future leaders, innovators, and creatives are getting the proper nutrition for their bellies and brains to grow throughout the most vital years of their lives, protecting them from the mental and physical stunting that can result from malnutrition.

meet our founder
Danielle Conte
Following a career in investment banking, I headed to Bali in search of happiness, balance, and to catch up on years of sleep. Over the next year I taught English and computer skills to Balinese children, traveled throughout Southeast Asia, dove into Buddhism, my yoga and meditation practice, and more importantly spent time with people that needed care and support. Everyday of my journey I was overwhelmed by the endless abundance of love and positive energy these beautiful people were sending out to the world; despite their modest means and more than often dire living circumstances. Coconut oil is a huge part of daily wellness and I unconsciously became quite the coconut fan. Returning home I had yet to find my “divine purpose” but I was even more inspired to start something to help those in need. After a few months, my friends said – “if you’re going to talk about coconut oil so much why don’t you sell it”. Here we are today. I believe when our ambitions are aligned with our greater spiritual purpose, we can achieve anything. And I’ve always felt that kindest thing you can do, is give a child a meal – and this is the foundation of which all is built.
With a couple winks from the Universe and a lot of meditation Conscious Coconut was created. I am grateful to bring a natural remedy that millions of people have used for centuries to the public. Conscious Coconut is a tool for us to manifest both inner and outer health and wellness while also guiding ourselves towards our most divine greatness: supporting those less fortunate. Giving back is what makes you the most beautiful you could possibly be. I believe in making all decisions from pure love and with this, the world will change.
