Conscious Coconut has fed 500,000 kids through Feeding America in 5 years. I am so deeply grateful for what we have ALL built together since that first Wanderlust Yoga Festival in 2015 when Conscious Coconut launched.

Conscious Coconut is based on the idea that we are directly connected to the livelihoods of others. I have traveled extensively overseas and have seen firsthand what taking care of others looks like in both volunteering and business. I have vowed to make a conscious choice for a better world.

We only work with responsible companies & retailers that share similar values, we are deeply committed to taking care of our farmers and factory workers overseas, all of our products are packaged and shipped by adults with disabilities and we are dedicated to protecting our environment through sustainability initiatives.

But have you ever wondered why I’m so committed to the one-for-one model? I have found it is really effective in allowing someone to know exactly what’s going to happen. There is a lot going on throughout our supply chain, but with a one-for-one model: there is no question; no crazy diagrams. You buy a product, we donate a meal to a child in need.

Our family, friends, customers and community love to share our story. A million people have done this for us, and I couldn’t be more grateful! With giving at the core of what we do, we’re blessed that our customers have become our story tellers & biggest advocates.

We have also been able to attract and retain the most wonderful people in the world. We have brought together individuals who want to be part of something bigger than themselves. And when you’re giving and serving with your team, you very quickly realize that your own stresses kind of dissolve. All those things just kind of melt away when you see these incredible needs you’re serving.

The last thing that I’ve recognized, and this has been a key to our growth and our success - has been that when you incorporate giving into what you’re doing, you also attract amazing PARTNERS. People want to see you be successful! We’ve had countless companies and people help us grow to get to where we are today. Yes we work hard, but it’s because of YOU that we’ve been able to better so many lives over the years.  

Our model has incredible potential to continue helping people for decades to come. Despite our race, skin color, gender, geographic location or anything else that keeps us in separation - love comes first. We are all human and we should all be treated as equals. My hope and vision for Conscious Coconut is that I can continue to use our model to positively affect lives and with your support I’m confident my dreams will continue to come true.

Thank you for growing with me these last five years. I feel blessed for today and everyday that I get to create, give back, learn & grow through this social enterprise. But above all, thank you for helping me prove to the world you can 100% run a business with LOVE.
